THE GRAY (SHORT FILM)

During my Fall 2026 semester at Newhouse, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a fellow film student on a short film project. I served as the Director of Photography, working alongside director and writer Joey Hendershot on his final short film, The Gray.

During pre-production, Joey and I met multiple times to review the script and carefully plan each shot, including camera and lighting choices as well as shooting locations. Joey specifically wanted to use the ARRI Alexa Mini for the project, so I completed training beforehand to ensure we could operate it properly on set. During production, my primary responsibilities included operating the camera and designing lighting setups to best support the actors and the film's visual tone.
